If you want a great, refreshing drink to serve by the pool (with or without a mini-mermaid!), this is the one for you! It’s simple to make and oooh, so yummy! I had this at a party recently and everyone was loving it.
So thanks, Ron, for letting me share this recipe. You can vary the rum to make it stronger or lighter but watch out … if you’re drinking this in the sun by the pool, it just might sneak up on you!
For the kids, substitute Coconut water for the rum and a little imitation rum flavoring….and let them dive in!
PS: At the party, we were talking about putting these ingredients into a blender and making a frosty drink out of it….we’ll try that at the next party and I’ll let you know how it turns out. Or, if you try it, let me know!
