Not much beats a big slice of chocolate pie with a whipped cream topping and this one tastes as good as it looks! Chances are you have almost everything on hand already – especially if there are kids or grandkids around! Make it for parties – make it for dinners – make it for FUN!
E-Z Triple Chocolate Pie
- 1 8″ or 9″ chocolate cookie pie shell (or graham cracker pie shell)
- 1 pkg. (6 oz) instant fudge chocolate pudding & pie mix
- 2-2/3 c chocolate milk
- 8 oz. container whipped topping or 4 oz. whipping cream, whipped
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Chocolate curls
In large mixing bowl, beat pudding mix and chocolate milk until blended. Pour into pie shell. Cover with plastic wrap against top of pudding (so it won’t develop a tough crust). Chill in the refrigerator several hours or overnight.
Before serving, carefully fold mini chocolate chips into whipped topping (or whipped cream), spread over top of pie. Cover top with chocolate curls (made by scraping a knife against a slightly softened bar of semi-sweet chocolate. Use toothpick to move chocolate curls to pie
