How about turning that wonderful rum Piña Colada into a fun milkshake? It’s so easy and makes a wonderful dessert as well as a refreshing drink that you can serve the kids to make them feel a little more “grown up”. Add some rum flavoring, if you like.
Piña Colada Milkshake
- 1/2 c unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1/3 c Cream of Coconut
- 1-1/2 c vanilla ice cream
- 1/8 tsp. rum extract, optional
- 1 maraschino cherry
- toasted coconut
In a blender container, combine juice, Cream of Coconut and ice cream and rum extract (if using). Blend until smooth. Garnish with cherry and sprinkle top with toasted coconut. Serve immediately.
